Equipping a market garden farm in Africa
Building a market garden farm: Ferme Agro Pastorale d’Ivongui, 1 hectare of plastic greenhouses built, 2 hectares of field crops planned and 2 hectares of additional greenhouses considered. Divatec was involved with the electrical, fertilisation and pumping equipment.

I travelled to the Cuvette region of Congo for the Ivongui agro-pastoral farm project. My work involved equipping a hectare of plastic greenhouses and two hectares of fields with drip irrigation systems and rainguns. I did the electrics, fertilisation and pump systems, some of which were manufactured in the workshop.The people there were very welcoming, despite the country’s difficulties. It was an enriching experience, both personally and professionally, in my job at Divatec. This project was a success as several crops are currently being grown (tomatoes, lettuce, etc.).
